4Fathers will cooperate with Oslo Sci-Fi Festival to create a convention in Oslo the summer of 2009. The subject will be "Movie Magic" were you get to learn the exciting production details for a SciFi movie. There will be Star Trek celebs present, and we will start shotting the Gatekeeper movie.

4Fathers will participate in Trekkers Norway’s Warp2008 (http://www.warpconventions.com/) with an exhibition from Harry Potter and Star Trek, the exhibition is being put together as we speak and contains (to this date):

4Fathers have invited Anthony Daniels to the 2009 Oslo Sci-Fi Festival, where the Gatekeeper movie will start shooting. Mr. Daniels played the android 3-CPO in Star Wars.

He will be joined by Gene Roddenberry's advisor for 16 years; Richard Arnold, and Bobbie Adams (from Trekkies 1 & 2).

In addition to this we are awaiting the contract of a Star Trek actor (Deep Space Nine).

Trekkers Norway's board has decided to delay the WARP 2008 convention in Trondheim. Lack of experience doing conventions is the cause of the delay.

The Warp convention was also delayed in 2006 when too much of the work load was placed on a few shoulders, and one of these got seriously ill.

The plan is - as in 2006 (where a 4Father paid for a local convention with 4 Star Trek guests) - to hold a local Con in Oslo, to avoid disappointing the members.

So far the Norwegian greatest expert on astronomy is invited as honoured guest, and Oslo Trekkers is responsible for the con. It is named Warp 2.8.

4Fathers support the board’s decision to delay the Con, but are a bit sad that our many written concerns over the last year was turned down.

The Scandinavian Sci-Fi Game & Film Convention, will be found in Oslo this september for the first time, and even though I'm not allowed to say anything about the guests, I CAN say that you will be pleased. Can anyone say....Star Trek???

4Fathers invites one of the historical Little Rock Nine to the Convention in 2009, and are currently awaiting an answer! There is a change we'll get a small shot for our movie as well. For those of you uncertain who I'm talking about - take a look at this:
