Well. . . maybe I should create a blog here. . .
I'm the sim crazy fellow, who is nagging for the holodeck to open. . . .Why?
Because I have 4 forum sims ready to go, plus a training sim. Also I'm the crazy guy that signed up to play the Academy Commandant in the movie. . . well. . .I signed on as that, because I might have problems to get into a studio to get filmed. . .(money problems).
Else, I'm a member of Trekkers Norge, and a moderator on that forum. :p
I'll come back to this blog when I feel I have something to write. . . Just wanted to tell you what kind of crazy guy you have here.
Hehe And it will! But we want to take it a bit further by backing it up with some nice graphics. It's a boor waiting for something - but always worth the wait! :)
Well. . .today might be exiting. . . . see who is being elected for the new board of TN. I hope, very sincerly, that the new board will be as friendly and optimistic about Gatekeeper as I am.
Anyway, I think things will look brighter soon. . . Having something to do is the most important thing in life. . .Sitting here, just doing nothing, is very hard. . .you should try it sometime.
Anyway. . . I hope I can get the part of the script where I am included. . . .Even if I don't have access to all parts of the Bridge. And I sincerely hope I'll get access to the holodeck soon. . . There it will be only text. . . no graphics.
Well. . .I better go out and get me something for dinner. . . . I wonder what I will have. . .

Sitting alone and have nothing to do is boooring! Try to write a book or a script instead. Helps chase any boredom away... J.
Jos: They will! :) Eirik is positive as long as we keep our promises - and we will (and we will most likely test out all our suggestion for cooperation with him to make sure he's satisfied), and the rest is VERY positive - with one exception.
The sad thing is that I like Øyvind very much. I find him to be a good resource, and always interesting to talk to. He has - however - decided that Gatekeeper will be the end of Trekkers Norway, and I have tried very hard to make him see that we will not.
Disagreements are always good - as they are a must for any development - but the debate must always be honest. I was very sad when I was informed about things done and said, that went a lot further than just disagreements. He is after all part of a central TN board that has decided they want to cooperate.
I do understand that he is doing what he believes are right and I do wish him the best. I hope he will come to his senses and see that this will benefit not only Trekkers Norway but the entire Scandinavian Trekker community, and that he will respect the rest of the TN board's decision. he should do what Eirik is doin instead. Eirik makes sure he has all information and is here to talk to us all personally. THAT's diplomacy.
Well, Here I am again.
Everything suddenly looks brighter, and I'm looking forward to see the script where I am included. I REALLY feel this project is very positive, not only for Trekkers Norge, but also for every other or thats in it.
If there are any questions about how to organize the sims and such, feel free to ask me, in here, or in PM. I'll answer to the best of my ability.
Yes, things are really looking brighter. . .I've finally got my pension case decided, and if I get the amount of money pr month indicated in the first letter I've got, then I should have a good income the rest of my life. But we'll have to wait and see. . . getting the letter about that in 2 weeks.
So, I will be able to consentrate more time and effort both as a board member of TN and here. . . .Isn't that wonderful?
yup, yup. . . As a certain doctor use to say: OptiMISM, Captain.
Can't tell you how happy I am for you! :) I was totally shocked when you told me what they paid you while waiting!
PS! Can you give me a link to an example of a game in progress? I need to see what the posts look like!
I don't know if there are any links I know about right now. . . . I was looking at all the links I've used before, and they were all dead. . .And I don't know if there are any sims like that going.

I can't post links to the sim I'm part of that is just like the one you want Jos.
Neither a link to the one that my sig picture is of (a slighty different sim than the one you are after).
The reason is that only members of that site can read the RPG posts, so you will get an error message then you click those links if you're not a member of that site. ;)
Can you make a screen save of the postings you are doing right now on any of the games? :) That would do it!
Whowieee. . . .This week is a busy one. . . First helping mom to get the locales ready for my niece's confirmation. . . Funeral on thursday (brother of my ex- Brother-in-Law), and the confirmation on sunday. . . . And the english relatives begins to come on friday. (Yes, my niece is half english)
And then there are other things too. . . Got my apartement cleaned today, but tomorrow I think I'll have to do my windows. . . I can hardly see through them, as they haven't been washed since last fall.
And I better get my nicest clothes out. . . See if I need to iron something before thursday. . . But, I will still have time to be here and do some things about the sim. . . .I'll better start open my Open Office and start writing the courses.
Well. . . Looks like the settings are OK. . . but if you want a more retro look, there should be other places (outside of Oslo) that could be good to visit too.
Well. . . I think I'll play a game of FreeCol. . . .Anyone else playing that? We could meet online and have a game together.
Peace and long life \\//
Well. . .it's been a long time since I last wrote anything here. And I'm STILL waiting for the sim parts to get opened for me. It has soon been a year. . .why is the forum part for the sims still locked? I know that I can do things better in the forum itself, than on the website. It has been tried before to make a station sim that way, and it has NEVER worked. Mostly because only the ones that know the system used can do things there. Better to limit thing to forum posts. . .
Yeah, I'm kinda mad. . .I'm also bored beyond recognition. . .Hope I can meet Martin and Thomas at Warp, so I can show them (in pen an paper if need be) what I mean about a forum sim. . .Best would of course have been an IRC sim, and I have both network and rooms for that. . . but it needs a certain commitment, since everybody has to meet at the same day and time every week to play it out. I even have an Academy to train people for IRC sims..
Well. . .I do hope that the movie will continue. . . Unfortunately, the studio I was thinking of using here had folded (not enough jobs, I guess). . . .So where to go to get the takes is a problem now.. . .
Else, I've been getting a lot of seasons both of trek and Stargate. . . and these has kept me busy for a while. . . But I like Ent and TOS better than TNG and the other series.
Well. . . .I better quit before I begin climbing the walls with frustration.

Ill guess that its because the sims want open untill the station opens but I could be wrong... J.
That's right! Martin got into his school in England and that will have to come first. When he's settled we'll start program the station pages.
Time to write something again.
It's been a long time since I've written anything here, but I have been sick. . . in and out of hospital because of my kidney stones. . . but now I'm getting them crushed.
Still waiting to see when the sim part of the forum gets opened, but I guess I'll have to be patient. Also waiting to see if my part in the movie is going to expand. . . Maybe a graduation for new ensigns into Starfleet/Gatekeepers? The best of the best going to the Gatekeeper team. . . Well, just an idea.
I'm glad Belgarion is back. . . He's one of my oldeswt and best friends online, and he has great experience in simming, and he's a very good ship designer. I've seen many of his designs, and the Bonhomme Richard subclass of the Constitution class is especially beautiful.
Else I'm just sitting here, playing FreeCol, while waiting for the sims to get available. . . Hope we'll get some ppl joining us there.
Well. . . I better get back to the sofa. . . my side is hurting today. Have a nice and painless weekend

There is nothing worser than being sick. The only good is that if youre well enough to think at all you can be darn creative in the time off work. Hope that you gets better! J.
There is nothing worser than being sick.
Being dead sucks a bit as well!
hope you will get them damn stones crushed soon Jos, too bad you have to go around like that... constant pain sucks
and yea..being dead sucks. not for the dead, but for the ppl around;)
Guess my point is that - yes it sucks to live with any kind of pain - BUT at least one can still watch Star Trek. :) Can't wait to see the new movie! :)
