I can't wait to see what my introduction in the script will look like, and hopefully I will see that part by tomorrow latest. :p

On the other hand the RPG that I have a signature picture of right here is really getting more and more thrilling and I really feel for more battle there already, lol.

Well my next post there is almost done. ;)

By the way, can I have a short story in the short story sections that are actually there I write Captain's Log as my RPG character?

That depends, I don't know who the Commander's real name are. Anyway, I guess I have to live with waiting for yet another week.

Lol, guess that means it's up to me if I do that. And therefore I will do that. The short story logs will be in a way directed to youo just as much as this log does. But I will write as my RPG character instead of the real me.
It will be interactive in the same way as well there you can talk to her. It's because it's not as the real me that I think it would be better to have it in that short story fanfic forum.

I will begin on the first post right away. :D

The only thing I ask of you that you is create these story lines OR eras:

ENTERPRISE
TOS
TNG
DS9/VOYAGER
GATEKEEPER

Other than that I will not get involved in the SIM part at all, when the graphics is finished. But the SIM page need to follow the Gatekeeper Prime Directive - which is pretty much the same as for Trekkers Norway. That shouldn't be any problem though! :)

You can write as yourselves or as an RPG character. The story is just like a log (like this one), the only difference is that I write as my RPG character in the RPG I have a signature picture off (thus it's in the direction of a fanfic).

It's up to you if you want to post responses to it as yourself or an RPG character of your own. ;)

Hope you get what I mean. By the way, as you can see of my sig, it's the TNG/DS9 era Rachel belongs to. :)

If you at a later date thinks that log as my character should be somewhere else, just move it (but I believe it will be on the right place).

PS: The log is a communication from that RPG, sort off. You'll see what I mean then the first thread is up. ;)

EDIT: After a little thought i think I shall send it to you either in a PM or over MSN so you can decide the best place for it to be before I post it. ;)

It would be like watching a movie, where the actors suddenly starts commenting what they think of the script! :)

Just one thing. . . .In these sims it will be several persons on the same ship. . . not each person commanding their own ship. . .You just have to have a crew aboard. . . Interaction between the crew. . . and promo's goes through the captain up to and including lt. Cmdr. . . over that, the Admiralty will be involved.

But you miss what I'm talking about, Thomas. What I'm talking about is no SIM in that way as those above is.

What I'm talking about is a log, just like this one, with the only difference that I write only as my RPG character from the RPG my second screenshot is of. And in that log my character is communicating with members on this site, so you can write as yourselves if you like. Do you understand now?

PS.: If anyone can show me how to operate spoiler tags here, I'd be happy, as the way I'm used to apparently don't apply here.

NO! I do not see the difference as all these looks like traditional role playing story telling to me! Are any of these examples of your log? Post an example of what you would write in such a log, and I'll understand!

Why dont you open an alternate thread where your alt do the posting. The only trouble is that we dont gonna get your alt an own membership. Its still you that makes the posting but if you can live with that feel free to post loggentryes and talk to us as your alt. Just remember to keep it chrystal clear that its your alt we are talking to all the time (with a different signature or things like that). Myself I would find it fun to read and comments bloggs of a "real" starfleet captain... Beam me up scotty... J.

Finally someone that got it what I talked about. That is what I have been saying all the time; I want to create a log as my alt. character that is an RPG character, and I wondered if the short stories sections would be the best place for it as I've heard only one log per member here in this forum (Private Quarters). But I could be wrong. :)

About the different signatures and stuff I would have to get a new member account for my alt. (and the name I use as my nick is already the name of my alt. ;) ).

Thomas: The difference between those two PG's I've posted screenies of (the top one is called "The Adventures of USS Midway" and the second one is called "Crossovers: Reclaimer") is that in the top one we only play as one character and all players are crewmembers of the same ship.
But in the second one all players command their own ships and controlls all of the crewmembers onboard that ship, so in the second one we got a fleet of ships (one for each player). :D

PS: The second one is also a crossovers between several scifi shows, that's why it's called Crossovers (as you may see in the second screenie a couple of Battlestars from BSG are mentioned, and my sig. shows you mine from ST, as well as the Defiance is from SG).

It it is possible that you have missed the fact the the SIM will get it's own Forum. The SIM section in THIS Gatekeeper forum will therefore be made for the logs you are talking about (to debate the SIM), while the SIM forum is for playing! This is why we talk past eachother I believe!

Well its one thing to create a second membership on this forum were our prime job is to diskuss the gatekeeper project and another to create multiple accounts in the gateekeeper station when its open I think. There youll see more of alts and sims and things. I dont know how thomas see about it but as for me its ok to create another blog with your logg entries and diskussions with your alts as long as youre crystal clear that that blog belong to your alt and not to you. If youre starts to confusing theese two then its goodnight so to say. I can see the same thing with gatekeeper staff IF people can keep theire blogs seperated and do the talking in the right forum. Could be a nice preperer for the shooting. J.

Well. . .I will not make another account here, but will write as myself (as C-in-C of Starfleet sims), as Academy commandan, and as my different chars (since I will be in several sims, plus training sim)
This may sound confusing to many, but it's not very difficult to do.
(On the other side, I will only keep the positions as C-in-C and Academy Commandant in the sims until we can get more flag officers, and can have elections)

No! That's for YOU to debate the SIM as YOU! ;) We could place that at the SIM forum as well, but then the two would be too separate. We need this to be a Gatekeeper activity, and we need the Gatekeeper forum to be the place were all Gatekeeper activities are debated and improved.

No! No fictional or doubble forum identities, please. We'll create a log section in the SIM forum!

Yes, it's crystal clear. :) By the way, after i have had some talk with the guy that runs the RPG my alt. is a character in, it may happen that you will get the chance to read the episodes from that RPG. ;)

I'll see if I will make some fanfic of my own about my character prior to the happenings in Crossovers: Reclaimer as well. :D
