Hello there all.
I am new here and it was suggested to me that this might be a good way to not only introduce myself but also get some assistance, or at least some feed back on various Trek related projects that I am undertaking.
First me: I am 30. I live in Australia, and have an Obssesion. That obssesion is Obssesions. One of the Obssesions that I obsses about is Trek. I guess that coveres most of the pertinant facts. Anything else you want to know just ask. I won't bite, unless asked nicely.
As to my Trek obssesions...
Well I mentioned above several projects. These originaly started out as a database of the Fleet (Yes, thats how obssesed I meant). It started as a high school computer studies project, but has grown somewhat since then. Anyway basically it is every ship since the USS Daedalus until about the end of the Dominion War. Obviously a lot of them I created. I think you would all be impressed with the amount of work thats in it.
The second project is a fan series that I am developing with several likeminded individuals in my local area. I don't want to go into too much detail, unless someone out there in internet land with more money and time steals my idea, but suffice to say there are several different series that we are planning.
As a part of both of these projects I started another project. In the database I was having a section where the ship insignia for the lead ship in each class was displayed. Obviously some other ships we know the insignia of (Enterprise etc) and as a creative person I had done various doodles of other insignia, so I decided that in case some of these ships appeared in episodes of my fan series' then it might be nice to have an insignia already worked out. One less thing to design which cuts down on production time. So I guess this is the one I wouldn't mind if people wanted to give me ideas on. If theres a ship name that you have an idea of what insignia might go with it then send a description or a picture of it (post them here if you want) Or if you just have an idea for one but don't really care what name might go with it thats cool too. Obviously there are alot of original names in my database that you won't know about but I'm sure you'll all do fine. You are Trekkers afterall.
