In this thread all news concerning the Portal Page will be announced. Comments are to be posted in The Mess Hall:

The Gatekeeper Portal is closing in on its deadline, and everything is according to plan. We'll do our best to get the page posted by the 1st of January, depending on the programmers private work schedule. :) If the page is dead line it's not by much.
As you now know the new opening of the Portal will be Monday - January the 7th. But the Movie part will be posted Monday the 14th, so this link will not be active on opening day.
Furthermore the articles will grow with time, to inform about the development of the projects. The main article on the front page will be the only article changing completely from time to time, as this is the gatekeeper News PADD. You may read the old news articles in the archive.
As for changes in the articles they will all be pointed out in the forum, so you won't miss out on anything.
The opening of the Portal may take a few more days, as the programmer need to do this between his work hours - as do we all. :) Neither me or Martin has 9 to 5 jobs, so it's not easy planning this far ahead. So be pasient, possoms! ;)
The portal is finished and will be posted for the 4Fathers to see tomorrow, and then opened for public. As you know the movie part is to be posted next week (we hoped for Monday but as this week has taken some time we'll just make it "next week" somewhere). And naturally the "Enlisting" link will be activated September 13th.
The Movie Page opening next week will present one character at a time, to give the actors a chance to send in their pictures (biatch slap) for us to do high res manipulations of what the characters will look like. First out is Captain Elisabeth Janeway! It will be possible to get a small peek at the characters of the Gatekeeper Team under the "Station" link. In the banner of the Station Interface you'll see the entire team in miniature. ;)
Still some programming to do on the portal.
As some of you will know I'm very particular when it comes to graphics, so Martin (the programmer) will be using quite a bit of time solving problems to allow the graphics being displayed as sent to him.
The Portal so far was posted yesterday but is restricted for 4Fathers viewing only, untill everything is in place. So strap tight, and the wait will soon be over.
The portal is as good as finished but there will an extra day for Bobbie Adams to look for spelling mistakes, and for me to look for graphichs that need to change. The opening will be posted here, in the shout box, at the Star Trek Databas, and at Trekkers Norway's Forum. You won't miss it!
When the portal is out we will post a new article every Monday on the front page (as well as one news article in every one of our News PADDs on this forum).
If the Portal is posted later than Wednesday this week we will let the first artickle stay for a few extra days and change it the Monday after this one, so everyone get at least a week to read it.
The Gatekeeper Portal will open tomorrow (Tuesday the 22nd)

There are still quite a few spelling mistakes (and a bit of outdated info) on the pages but we have spotted them all (so no need to point them out). They will be corrected today! :)
Notice that the Q&A page on the Portal page, is awaiting your questions. We have recieved one that is one its way out on the page. You may use the Questions thread on this forum if you like. :)
The Q&A page will most likely open later today, and will grow as we recieve the questions!

The portal will be off-line for a period tomorrow. I need to do some changes to the way the article pages work.
We are opening an extra thread under News PADDs for you to debate the current News Artickle on the portal page.
The link will be found in the full verion of the artickle as all future artickles will be a bit longer than today, and only present a teaser on the front page - with a "read more...here" link.
And so the last two members of the Gatekeeper team is presented on the portal page.
Next week we'll start with the works station officers - also main parts in the movie and responsible for running the station (While the Gatekeepers concentrate on the task of security and keeping every one at a safe distance from the Nexus).

Got some BRILLIANT news today, so the story about our new CGI artist and Orion Slave Girl planed for Monday the 10th of Mars will have to wait until the 17th of Mars. Presenting our artists is inbetween news artickles. ;) Hope you understand! :)
But the news this Monday is BRILLIANT as well - so stay tuned.
There will be no characters presented next Monday as the 4Fathers need the nexts two weeks to concentrate on other parts of production. But the newsarticle will be presented as usual.
The new deal between me and our programmer Martin is to post the newsarticle no earlier than midnight between Sunday and Monday, and no later than midnight between Monday and Tuesday. So basically he has the entire Monday to do this to fit it in with his work! So those of you waiting for these might want to check in on them every Monday night instead! ;)
The News Archive on the Portal Page is now updated. In adition to the main articles Martin has added the front articles on top of the other. This often contains exciting pictures and info that would otherwice be lost.
Next week's news article will be more interesting for those that has not yet found their way into the Gatekeeper Forum. However! There will be a picture from the movie (and the last part of the script). OH YES - you heard me! You might wane toon in this Monday!
The news article for last Monday was cancelled because of the Norwegian national independent celebration. It was to be posted today instead, but as we have made the article much bigger we will post it next Monday instead. That is Monday the 26th. :)
We are currently working on a full update of the Portla Pages - which means:
- An lates news - artickle to stay posted for a week.
- An general info artickle to stay on the front page until Martin is settled in England.
- Udate of all dated general info on the page
- Aditional pictures
- Presentation of the two new actors to replace John and Christian.
- A fuller and updated info on all the producers and partners
The first article after the summer will most likely be posted this Monday! After this we will wait until Martin is settled in England BUT I will post artickles in these PADDs on the forum every week until then!
